The over-all point is that new technology will not necessarily replace old technology, but it will date it. By definition. Eventually, it will replace it. But it’s like people who had black-and-white TVs when color came out. They eventually decided whether or not the new technology was worth the investment.

When you grow up you tend to get told that world is the way it is and your, Your life is just to live your life inside world, try not to base into the walls to much, try to have a nice family life, have fun, save a little money. But life that is a very limited life. Life can be much broader once you discover one simple fact and there is everything around you that you call life made up by people there were no smarter than you ! and you can change it, You can influence it, You can build your own things that other people can use and the minute that you understand that you can Poke life in actually something you know you push in, something you pop out the other side you can. You change it, you can mold it that is the most important thing is to shake off this.
Notion that life is there and you are just going to live in it versus, embrace it, improve it. Make your mark upon it. I think this is very important and however you learn that one you learnt it. You will wanting chance life and make it better cause it is cannot messed up in a lot of wages. Once you learn that you will never
be the same again.

Build a great team : Greatest people are self-managing they do not need to be managed you think they know if once they know what to do. They will go figure out how to do it they do not need to be managed at all what they need is a common vision and that is what leadership is what leadership is having a vision being able to articulate that so the people and around you can understand it and getting a consensus on a common vision we wanted people that were insanely great what they did but work were not necessarily those seasoned professionals but who had on at the tips of their figure and in their passion the latest understanding of where technology was and what we could to bring it’s a lot of people so the neatest thing that happen is when you get a core group of you know ten great people that it becomes self-policing as to who they let in to that group so I consider the most important Job of someone like my self is recruiting agonized over hiring we have the interview I go back and look at some of the interviews again they would start at nine or ten in the morning and go through dinner and it really hard, I knew interviewing talk to everybody in the building at least once may be a couple times and then come back for another round of interviews and then they will get together and talk about it.

Let’s hire professional management we went out and hired a bunch of professional management it did not work at all. Most of them boozes they knew how to manage by hey do not know how to anything and so what if you are a great person why do you want to work for something you can not learn anything from and you know.

What interesting you know what the best managers are there the great individual contributors who never ever no one else is going to able to do as good a job as them after hiring two professional managers from outside the company and firing them both jobs.

Do not do it for money: I think money is wonderful thing because I never did it for money. I think Money is wonderful thing because it enables you to do in investing ideas that does not have a short term pay back and things like that but especially at that points in my life it was it was not the most important thing that most important things was the company the people the products we were making what we were going to enable people to do with products so I did not thing about it is a great deal and never sold any stock Just really believe that the company would do very well over the long term.

I am pretty sure none of this would have happened if I had not been fired from apple, It was awful tasting medicine but I Guess the patient needed if sometime life sometimes life is going to hit you in the head with brick do not loss faith I am convinced that the only thing that kept me going was that I love what I did. You have got to find what you love and what is true for work as it is for your lovers your work is going to fill a large part of your life and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work and the only way to do great work is to love what you do if you have not found it yet keep looking and do not settle.

As with all matters of the heart you will know when you find it and like any great relationship it just gets better and better as the years roll or so keep looking do not settle.

Stay hungry stay foolish is was their farewell message as they signed off. Stay hungry stay foolish and I have always wished that for myself and now as you graduate to begin a new wish that you.
